​Petrosul Sulphur Tracking System

Spot Solutions built a complex custom system for Petrosul, a sulphur trading and marketing company. Petrosul sources sulphur from oil and gas companies that produce it as a byproduct of the natural gas extraction process in British Columbia and Alberta, and exports it to customers in Africa, South America and Asia. The Petrosul Sulphur Tracking System tracks the processing, handling, loading and shipping costs of the sulphur; the proportionate ownership of the sulphur; and the selling price. The application allows for the entry of input costs, adjusts for different moisture contents of constituent sulphur in co-mingled piles and different moisture contents once loaded in the ship, and produces management reports and monthly invoices and statements for several dozen sulphur producers.
